Courtroom Drama as US Government Rescinds Decision

In response to Immigration and Customs Enforcement directives which mandated the exit from the United States of students who had online course loads for the upcoming year, Harvard University and MIT took the government to court. Just five minutes into the hearing, it was announced that a settlement had been reached between the parties, and now the government will allow international students to remain in the US, despite having an online course load for the upcoming semester, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This announcement comes as a huge relief for many international students arriving for studies in the US, or already present in the US.
